My mission is to empower individuals, teams and organizations to thrive. I am passionate about facilitating positive change with the individuals and organizations I work with.
I founded The Kirwin Group in 2004 and in my role as mentor, coach and facilitator have focused on building thriving workplaces. I developed the Vitality at Work brand with a single focus of supporting individuals and organizations to realize their full potential through the application of positive psychology.
I have completed a Masters in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier specializing in Leadership and Organizational Behaviour. I achieved my Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology (CAPP) from the
Wholebeing Institute, where I studied under Dr. Tal Ben Shahar from Harvard University and went on to complete a MSc in Applied Positive Psychology at the University of East London.

Leadership Coaching is a process that empowers individuals and team, create space for insight, enhances performance and improves communication for leaders and their teams.I have diverse experiences from small business owners, large state agencies, university leadership, faculty and personnel, college students and individuals facing life-work balance issue just to name a few of my clients. Originally from Guelph, Ontario, I now live in Upstate New York and do a majority of my coaching and leadership education virtually.
I received my Masters of Social Work (MSW) from Syracuse University and then went on to complete my PhD from SUNY at Albany in 2001. I am also a Adjunct Associate Professor at University of Southern California with their MSW program since 2011. My approach is to connect people to evidence based tools to cultivate, grow and build one's baseline for vitality at work. I believe when we experience life
Stressors it is not uncommon for our lives to unravel and to become stuck in a loop. As a leadership coach I provide space to step out of the look and enhance skills with problem solving, crucial conversations, exploring growth and fixed mindsets, and ultimately developing agile leadership skills.
"Connection is the energy that is created between people when they feel seen, heard and valued-when they can give and receive without judgement"
