We will explore practice strategies to implement for short- and long-term positive impact

 This program will illuminate the importance of emotions in building resilience and wellbeing. The session will explore the science of positive emotions and the important role they play in cultivating creativity, resilience and connection. The role negative emotions play in fostering a healthy environment will also be explored. Participants will be taught about the core facets of emotional intelligence and how to cultivate emotional intelligence at work and in life.

Discover Your Strengths program will help employees understand the power of working in their strengths.  The program will allow individuals to identify their strengths, develop strategies to leverage their strengths, and unique ideas on how to find flow at work. This program is a critical step to help individuals and organizations realize their full potential

This session will focus on how to build thriving relationships at work by the way we inquire and have conversations with others. The session will explore the technique of appreciative inquiry to build innovation, solve business issues and build healthy relationships at work.

 Healthy conflict is critical to thriving relationships. This program will explore your approach to conflict, understand the role strengths play in conflict and explore strategies for healthy conflict at work and in life.    


Program is delivered virtually over 3, 4 or 6 weeks at 1hr per week

About Our Programs

These programs are offered in a virtual learning environment where participants learn and grow together. The group will meet once a week for two, three, four or six weeks. Each session will be 1 hr in length. Meghan Kirwin will be the key facilitator guiding the process (see bio below). 

Each session will involve discussions on key learning and application of the learning to your work. There will be application work provided in between each session. The Virtual Learning Environment is a very 

interactive learning experience. Participants will need access to a computer, webcam, quiet space and phone for each session.  There is a maximum of 15 participants per session. 


Trainer Qualifications 

Meghan Kirwin, MBA, MSc

Meghan’s mission is to empower individuals, teams and entrepreneurial organizations to apply the "science of happiness" at work and in life.  Meghan is passionate about facilitating positive change with the individuals and organizations she works with. Meghan founded The Kirwin Group  in 2004 and in her role as mentor, coach and facilitator has focused on building thriving workplaces.  Meghan developed the Vitality at Work brand with a single focus of supporting individuals and organizations to realize their full potential through the application of positive psychology.   

Meghan has over 20 years of experience designing and delivering training programs for individuals, teams and leaders. Meghan has completed a Masters in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier specializing in Leadership and Organizational Behaviour. She also completed a Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology (CAPP) from the Wholebeing Institute, where she studied under Dr. Tal Ben Shahar from Harvard University. Meghan recently completed a Masters in Science in Applied Positive Psychology from University of East London, England, which is one of the leading Universities in the field of positive psychology. Meghan is also a certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Teacher

Elizabeth is one of the co-founders of  Vitality at Work. Connecting people to evidence based tools from the field of positive psychology is part of the creativity she brings to her coaching and leadership trainings. Elizabeth's goal is to empower individuals to find vitality at work and thrive at work. She provides a space to enhance skills with problem solving, crucial conversations, exploring growth and fixed mindsets, and ultimately developing agile leadership skills.
