Radical Self Care 6 Week Program

 

Many  of us fall into the pattern of taking care of everyone else first.  However in the midst of a global pandemic, our    energy reserves may be  running low. Now more than ever we can’t afford to get sick. The world  needs us to “put on our own oxygen mask first” in order to truly help  those around us. This program is designed to help you get back in touch  with your body and what YOU need to stay healthy: physically, mentally,  emotionally and spiritually.

During  this 6 week program we’ll use mindfulness techniques and  self-compassion practices to increase body awareness and help you get in  touch with cues such as hunger, satiety, stress, emotion and fatigue.  We will work on accepting where you are right now while tapping into  your strengths to help you get where you want to be.   You will gain  insight into what might be holding you back from achieving your health  goals.  You will also learn tools to get at the roots of your behaviours  and strategies to help you follow your intuition toward more nourishing  health habits. Date:  ONLINE FORMAT April 28th-May 26th 2021. We will meet using Zoom each  Wednesday evening starting April 28th from 7-8:30pm EST and finishing  May 26th.


Fee (Investment in Self): $295 for 6 weeks. (Early Bird Rate before April 14th: $249 taxes included).

Facilitator

Heidi Smith, RD, BSc.  Registered Dietitian

 Heidi  Smith has been consulting for individuals and organizations for over 25  years. Heidi provides a unique perspective by combining her expertise  on nutrition and exercise with her passion for mindfulness. In addition  to being a Registered Dietitian, Heidi is a certified facilitator of the  MBSR program (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction), a trained  SoulCollage® Facilitator, and an Advanced Dream Pattern Analyst. She is  the author of the practical sport nutrition handbook entitled "Nutrition  for the Long Run" and the wellness manual “Food, Hunger and Habits”.
